Playing with your food is strongly encouraged with this basic pasta salad that lets guests be creative with their own customized add-ins.
- 2 (1 lb) boxes fusilli
- 1 clove garlic
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup finely chopped parsley
- Cook the fusilli according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, with garlic press, crush the garlic into a very large bowl. Add the vinegar, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, oregano, and olive oil. Whisk to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain pasta and rinse with cold water until cool. Add to bowl with vinaigrette and toss until well coated. Fold in the parsley.

Sliced pitted olives, chopped salami, finely chopped red onion, grated Parmesan, corn kernels, sliced mini cucumber, shredded carrots, chopped red peppers, halved grape tomatoes, mini mozzarella pearls, shredded Cheddar, blanched sliced asparagus, blanched chopped broccoli, sliced green onions, crumbled blue cheese
